We welcome new tutors every week, so please come out and join us!

Tutor Sign-up Fall 2017


We tutor Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Chemistry, Biology, Writing/English, SAT Math/Verbal, and any other subjects with which students may need help. Mark your calendar for any dates that you are able to tutor.  We have no attendance requirements – just join us for as many sessions as you can! (And please remember to fill out a membership form during your first tutoring session.)

Tutor Training

Join us for tutor training on September 20, 2017, (Location: N111) at Pharmacy Hall (20 N. Pine St. Baltimore, MD 21201). Food/drinks will be provided in the Balch Gallery!

ABAE Fall Orientation

2017 ABAE Tutor Training by Dr. Richard Dalby


Please arrive by 9:45am on the Saturday you are available to tutor. Grab some breakfast and feel free to speak to any ABAE officer about the tutoring procedure and any other questions/concerns you might have.

Tutoring Sessions:

Breakfast          9:45 – 10:00 am
Tutoring           10:00 – 10:55 am
Break               10:55 – 11:05 am
Tutoring           11:05 – 12:00 pm

We want all of our tutors to enjoy their time with ABAE – we make an effort to address any concerns you may have regarding a student, a fellow tutor, or the program in general. If you ever encounter any inappropriate behavior from a tutor or student, please do not hesitate to file a formal report with us. Download and complete the Incident Report Form and follow the form instructions for submission to our advisor, Ms. Margaret Hayes, and we will follow up with you as soon as we can.
