Our Mission
To expand awareness of the unique characteristics of medication therapy in children, and foster safe and effective medication use in pediatric populations through collaboration, advocacy, research, and education.
Our Goals
- Advocate pediatric pharmacy within the School of Pharmacy as well as in the community and other patient care settings.
- Promote research and innovative projects that will advance the knowledge of colleagues and the community about appropriate medication use in children.
- Become a networking hub providing opportunities for students and pediatric pharmacists to share their experience and expertise to promote professional growth.
- Serve as a primary resource for students in regards to effective drug therapy in children and pediatric career pathways after pharmacy school.
