Our Mission:
To expand awareness of the unique characteristics of medication therapy in children, and foster safe and effective medication use in pediatric populations through collaboration, advocacy, research, and education.
Our Goals:
- Advocate pediatric pharmacy within the school of pharmacy as well as in the community and other patient care settings
- Promote research and innovative projects that will advance the knowledge of colleagues and the community about appropriate medication use in children.
- Become a networking hub providing opportunities for students and pediatric pharmacists to share their experience and expertise to promote professional growth
- Serve as a primary resource for students in regards to effective drug therapy in children and pediatric career pathways after pharmacy school
