The Council on Infectious Diseases is a program within ACCP-SCCP with a mission to enhance care and limit disease spread and exposure by providing helpful information for men, women, and children to use.
The ACCP-SCCP Council on Infectious Diseases goals include:
- Enhancing the field of Infectious Disease
- Advocating for Infectious Disease stewardship
- Generating interest in the Infectious Disease field
Student pharmacists at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy will have the opportunity to shadow Infectious Disease Pharmacists, educate children in the UMB Scholar’s Program on how to prevent disease spread, and network with ACCP members at conferences and meetings. Join ACCP-SCCP to become more involved with this exciting and evolving program!
