A Bridge to Academic Excellence (ABAE) is a student organization at the UMB School of Pharmacy. ABAE’s mission is to provide tutoring and mentoring for middle/high school students in the Baltimore Metro area. This program is run by UMB student volunteers from programs in pharmacy, law, medicine, physical therapy, social work, graduate and dentistry.
ABAE offers tutoring in Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Science, English/Writing and SAT Prep for grades 6-12. Tutoring takes place on most Saturdays on the UMB campus during the academic year. These services are free of charge to the participating members.
