ABAE is an interprofessional organization that provides tutoring and mentoring for middle and high school students in the Baltimore metropolitan area. Volunteering to tutor in ABAE meets many student organization and course service requirements. We are able to provide this service free for community members thanks to our UMB student volunteers!
Tutoring is held most Saturdays at Pharmacy Hall 10 AM – 12 PM
All ABAE tutors will need to get a background check. ABAE will fund these, and the process is online and has a relatively fast turnaround time. We are not currently recruiting new tutors for this semester, but keep an eye on this page for updates about the Spring 2024 semester!
We tutor Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Chemistry, Biology, Writing/English, SAT Math/Verbal, and any other subjects with which students may need help.
